(13 January 2015) A public awareness campaign on driveway safety is one of the community projects that will benefit from this year’s Community Post donations from New Zealand Post.
More than 1.3 million postage-included envelopes will be given to 2,328 not-for-profit organisations across the country. Direct marketing assistance is also provided to some of the groups. A large donation of more than 25,000 envelopes has gone to the national group Safekids Aotearoa for its 2015 driveway safety campaign.
“We’re pleased to be able to support Safekids Aotearoa and all the other organisations receiving Community Post envelopes this year,” says New Zealand Post Group sponsorship spokesperson Malcolm Shaw.
“We assist groups working in the areas of education, health and wellbeing, as well groups wanting to develop business partnerships. These organisations work tirelessly on important projects in their regions. Community Post will help them achieve their goals and keep in touch with their communities.”
