- Cooperative partnership to expand educational opportunity extended for an additional three years
- Over 75,000 teaching participants placed, and more than nine million students reached worldwide
Deutsche Post DHL Group, the world’s leading mail and logistics company, and the global network working to expand educational opportunity, Teach For All, announced today that they will be extending their successful partnership for another three years. The two organizations are reaffirming their commitment to providing all children and adolescents the opportunity to attain an excellent education, regardless of background or economic status.
Teach For All is a global network of 40 independent, locally led and funded partner organizations that work at the national level to expand educational opportunity and shape a generation of local leaders who will work to ensure that all children can fulfill their potential. Teach For All supports the academic development of children and adolescents, in particular of those from socially disadvantaged backgrounds. Since its establishment in 2007, the Teach For All network has placed over 75,000 teaching participants in schools worldwide, reaching more than nine million students. Around 60 percent of the network’s nearly 50,000 global alumni leaders continue to work in education, both inside and outside the classroom.
