Deutsche Post DHL Group, the world’s leading mail and logistics company, has once again been recognized by leading corporate responsibility (CR) rating agencies for its continued progress in the area of sustainability management. The Group was able to further improve its CR performance, following on from the strong results it recorded in 2015. For Deutsche Post DHL Group, these independent evaluations provide confirmation of its direction and efforts in this area. “Over the last several years we have worked very hard throughout the Group to combine profitability and sustainability, to focus on material issues, and to approach corporate responsibility in a way that is systematic, transparent and measurable,” said Dr. Frank Appel, CEO of Deutsche Post DHL Group. “The external assessments by CR rating agencies as well as the results of the supplier evaluations are – for us and our stakeholders – important instruments for monitoring and steering the course of our CR management. All the more encouraging, then, to have these ratings reflect our progress, and to see that the Group has once again improved significantly in terms of CR performance.”
