Purolator’s holiday season ship-by dates released for domestic, U.S. and international shipping
TORONTO, ON, Nov. 14, 2014 – Heading into the busy holiday season, Purolator forecasts its busiest shipping day of the year will be Dec. 17, when the company expects to move approximately 1.3 million pieces.
For the second consecutive year, Canada’s leading freight, parcel and logistics solution provider also anticipates a significant surge in volume on Cyber Monday (Dec. 1) – the Monday after American Thanksgiving and Black Friday. Purolator expects to move approximately 1.2 million packages on that day.
“Purolator’s more than 12,000 employees are ready to deliver the millions of holiday promises made across Canada and around the world,” said Ramsey Mansour, Vice President, Marketing, Purolator. “The Cyber Monday shipping phenomenon creates a ‘second peak’ shipping period, which is partially attributed to the growth we are seeing from our U.S. northbound business.”
