Bathurst, N.B., May 13, 2016 – Purolator, Canada’s leading freight, package and logistics solution provider, donated a delivery vehicle to the Bathurst Volunteer Centre today as part of its Purolator Tackle Hunger® program.
“As a proud supporter of food banks across Canada, we are pleased to help the Bathurst Volunteer Centre support over 450 families that rely on food donations each month,” said Lionel Gaudet, District Manager, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island, Purolator. “With a dedicated vehicle, the centre can easily pick up more food for families in need.”
Being a non-profit organization, the centre was unable to purchase a delivery vehicle due to the rising cost of food and the number of clients it serves.
